Select scope
Map manufacturing, trading, storage and transport, product characteristics and buyer requirements. Do not assume interchangeability between schemes or with organic certification.
Hazards and suppliers
Records support acceptance, hold and release decisions. Hazards and supplier controls must reflect the actual chain. Organic status and feed safety remain separate assessments.
Maintain readiness
Internal audits review evidence, competence, changes and corrective actions. Maintain current scheme-owner documents and responsibilities after the first assessment.
What the project produces
The agreed scope includes a requirements map, prioritised actions, responsibilities, operating records and a readiness review. Deliverables are agreed before implementation. Existing documents are reviewed for usefulness rather than replaced automatically.
Evidence before the review
Prepare process descriptions, supplier records, traceability information and any open findings. Do not send sensitive files through the public contact form. The first enquiry should describe the operation; detailed document exchange is agreed separately.
