HACCP and good manufacturing practices

HACCP structures hazard analysis and product-safety controls. Good practices provide the operational conditions for an effective system.

Confirm the flow

Site walks verify operations, storage, rework and outsourced steps. A confirmed flow is the starting point for assessment, not an illustration prepared afterwards.

Define decisions

Control plans specify checks, timing, responsibilities and reactions. Product safety differs from organic status. Shared records should distinguish release criteria.

Verify effectiveness

Staff need deviation and escalation rules. Effectiveness checks use observation and new records. Implementing required controls is not automatically the same as obtaining a private certificate.

What the project produces

The agreed scope includes a requirements map, prioritised actions, responsibilities, operating records and a readiness review. Deliverables are agreed before implementation. Existing documents are reviewed for usefulness rather than replaced automatically.

Evidence before the review

Prepare process descriptions, supplier records, traceability information and any open findings. Do not send sensitive files through the public contact form. The first enquiry should describe the operation; detailed document exchange is agreed separately.
